Selling your home is one of the biggest decisions you will make. As a broker, we consider it my responsibility to make this process as transparent, fluid, and fast as possible. Our secret method? It’s a highly specialized concept called “doing your homework,” for both my clients and us.
Step 1: Setting goals
Everyone has different goals around the sale of their home. In order to best serve my clients, we ask questions, listen, and help you set specific goals so that we are all working toward the same objective.
step 2: Pricing
We consider pricing a home an art form--one that requires constant analysis, up-to-date information, practice and expertise. Any of my past clients will tell you that I am nothing if not honest when it comes to pricing my properties.
step 3: Staging & Editing
Staging, or as we like to call it, “editing,” doesn’t have to mean a full on makeover of your home--and definitely shouldn’t be overwhelming. To us, editing is whatever we need to do to make a property as appealing as possible to buyers. Decluttering, rearranging, adding or taking away furniture are simple fixes that can make a huge difference. We also work with a professional stager/interior designer that we consult for opinions on paint colors and layouts.
step 4: Listing marketing
We customize my marketing plan for every single one of my listings based on what we learn about you and your home: how you live in your home, how to make it most appealing to buyers, and much more. Plus, all of my properties are professionally photographed for on- and off-line marketing.
step 5: Negotiations
My number one objective is a smooth sale for you. Communication is key -- between us , and also with all parties on the buy side of the transaction. With communication, respect, and a “no-drama” attitude, we get the job done.
step 6: Moving
As a 20-year resident of the North Shore with a family of six, I know a lot of excellent vendors to help you navigate the moving process. We consider myself a connector, and I am many of my client’s go-to resource for movers, cleaners, home repair specialists, etc.
